Geometry of art and life
Life is without objective meaning or intrinsic value, but art is meaningful.
Some days you are the windshield, some days you are Filippo Marinetti. Hero to zero.
Each simple image is a narrative that tells a story to construct a artworld full of absurdity and uncertainty.
Weird can be cool; it can be powerful, but as an end-in-itself exercise, it's a waste of time.
When something is the future, no one tells you that. It just becomes the future no questions asked. Artworks inspire reflection on the enduring narratives that shape our lives. Figure studies must avoid signs of conformity to social roles. Its geometric purity made it especially vulnerable to compromise. Meaningless artworks grease the theoretical wheels.
I never think about the bottom end of the page. It comes soon enough. When you need to hype up something, it's not the future.
